The Captain :

Born in Sept-Iles, Québec, Donald Gould as been in love with sailing for the last 20 years.

When he began he sailed on a wind surfer, soon after small sail boats, than bigger sail bots until he decided to turn his passion to a full time job by buying the 36 feet catamaran Aquilo 36.

Then sailed to the great lakes, St-Lawrence sea way, Bahamas to the Costa Rica. He is now back on the beautiful lake Memphrémagog.

And invites you to join him and his crew for an unforgetable experience as you will discover the Eastern Townships, viewed from a fast and smooth running catamaran.

You will be in good and safe compagny with the capitain Gould who is reconized by transport Canada and Transport Québec as a licenced captain for a passenger vessel. Captain Gould also holds fist aid certificates from 23 years experience on the Canadian ski patrol and also a certificate from the British Colombia industrial first aid and trauma. He is a very mature and conciensious about the safty of all his passengers and crew.

The Boat:

If you are an experienced sailor or at your first experience, your will be enchanted to sail on this splendid catamaran. This boat can accomodate 12 passengers in addition to his crew.

Of a length of 36 feet, Aquilo is classified among one of the fastest catamaran of its category. This catamaran was built by MacGregor in 1977. It is one of the most significant manufacturers of catamarans in the world. The equipement consist of a hard deck and trampoline, dry storing compartments, kitchenette, 25 H.P. aux. motor, life jackets, snorkelling equipements, bathroom, vhf radio & gps, stereo, CD player and tape.
